Apple Slices with Cheddar and Bacon
Simple and delicious. The best part is that almost all of the ingredients are from the market.
4 slices Purely Farm bacon
1 Solebury Orchard green or red apple, cut into 1/3" slices
2-3oz Fulper Farms cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4" slices
Honey Hills Apiary Honey- to taste
Place a medium pan on medium heat and cook bacon until browned and crispy on both sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan and allow to drain on a piece of papertowel.
In a bowl, toss apple slices with the juice of 1 lemon. Top each apple slice with a piece of cheddar cheese. Break off a piece of the cooked bacon and place it on top. Finally, drizzle on desired amount of honey.
Serve at room temperature.
