Going back to basics, Annie has picked up the bowl and the whisk and, once again, created a line of miniature pastries and small individual desserts, handmade, homemade, with the finest ingredients and the same old-fashioned recipes she has used all these years. Going back to the kitchen, she bakes and sells her famous desserts herself, at the New Hope Ferry Market and now at the Wrightstown Farm Market. Her beautifully executed desserts taste even better than they look.

Kismet Bagels

Kismet Bagels was founded by accident. In the early weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jacob and Alexandra Cohen’s jobs in sales and entertainment were put on hold, and the couple weren’t sure what to do with their suddenly empty schedules. To pass the time and find a sense of comfort amidst uncertainty, they began baking bread each morning. Soon they had their first craving for bagels, and decided to try their hands at a recipe off the internet. After a few batches for friends and family, Alexandra had the urge to use their new passion to raise funds for local charities. They began selling bagels to their neighbors and donating the proceeds to Project Home, a local organization helping the homeless in Philadelphia. To this day, a portion of every single sale benefits community charities and causes.

Jacob and Alexandra are beyond excited to have this sudden newfound business and are bursting with new ideas and ways to grow in order to help benefit causes that they believe in, and get bagels to more and more people every single day!
