Born on September 1st 1958, I grew up in Levittown, PA in the 1960s and 70s.
I started dreaming of playing music when I saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in February 1964 when I was 5 years old.
I started dreaming of playing guitar when I heard Eric Clapton play Crossroads on Cream's Wheels of Fire album in 1968.
I started playing guitar in 1971 at age 12 inspired by the many great bands at the time: The Allman Brothers Band, the Grateful Dead, Humble Pie, CSNY, Yes, Jeff Beck, Derek & the Dominoes, Jimi Hendrix, to name a few.
A few years later I was introduced to acoustic finger-style guitar artists such as James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, and Bruce Cockburn.
Over the years I made it my goal to be as fine an acoustic guitar player as electric. To be as mellow and refined as I can be raucous and loud.
I always look forward to performing at the Wrightstown Farmers Market. I find the people there have the same love for beautifully written acoustic guitar music as I do.
