We are a local, producer-only market promoting sustainable farming practices that support healthy soil, produce, pastures, animals, people and local communities.
Winter Farmers Market Coronavirus Update:
WE ARE OPEN
The WFM Committee along with the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance is working diligently to brainstorm ways for the Winter Wrightstown Farmers Market to stay as safe as possible, viable and profitable for everyone as we all try to navigate through this very uncertain time. The good news is that the Wolf Administration had deemed farmers markets in PA as ‘essential’ and the PA Dept of Ag has agreed they should stay open during the coronavirus pandemic.
This means the WFM WILL be open for the April 11th and April 25th markets, unless we hear otherwise. Be sure to check regularly here on the website, the newsletter, Facebook and Instagram for updates and changes to these procedures.
Information for the Next Market as of 4/11/2020
1. NEW MARKET HOURS: 9:00 AM - 12 PM.
If you are a senior citizen or have underlying health issues, shop the market from 9-10 AM.
2. PRE-ORDER AND PRE-PAY as much as you can.
3. Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet apart from one another at all times. The Market has been moved outside the Church with vendors spaced at least 20 feet apart.
4. Please wear a mask covering your nose and mouth.
5. No cash bills or coins may exchange hands. Please have exact change and make arrangements with vendor in advance. Fill checks out prior to market. To avoid this all together, PRE-ORDER AND PRE-PAY.
4. Please have only one person from your household shop the market and pick up your pre-ordered food to keep crowds at a minimum.
7. Please BRING YOUR OWN hand sanitzer and sanitizing wipes.
Vendors: In addition to these steps, vendors will be following safety guidelines as well, wearing masks and using clean gloves, changing them frequently throughout the morning, sanitizing surfaces often, offering sanitizing wipes at vendor booths when available, having one person handling money and another handling product. We will also be spacing vendors out along the Church driveway in order to adhere to social distancing and reduce crowding.
As you know, things are changing hourly, and even the best laid plans can be affected by new updates. We will do whatever we can to keep this market open and functioning in some capacity as we finish out the winter season and the start of the regular season. Please check back regularly here, Facebook, Instagram and the Newsletter prior to the market for any updated information. Also check on our vendors' social media platforms and websites for updates.
